vs
Hanging
vs
Killed by Gunfire

the 'killed by gunfire' is not for entertainment purposes
I mean. it really still exists
some countries who cannot afford lethal injection
and those countries who are more 'brute'
turn to gunfire as capital punishment

as seen above, they are ranked according to
how -humane- they are
and not how -funfair- they are
lethal injection is used in most stats in US
where as hanging, it pretty famous in Singapore
however I'm not too sure about gunfire executions
probably in the lesser developed countries?

well thats not the point
the point is not talking how fanciful they are
what I'm trying to bring up is
is there no other way except to sentence convicts to death?
many arguments were brought up if they were sentenced to life, such as
'these criminals are good-for-nothings, sucking up our taxes!'
'why not death? its such an inhumane thing to do (murder)'
well yes, however my point of view is
who are you, a bystander, maybe a witness, maybe a relative of the victim
to decide for the person who is already dead
that the person is to die just because he killed someone?
alright, yes you're right. he killed the man
so what?
I'm not saying you are supposed to let him run scot free
however think about it this way
yes, he will be sucking taxes
but prisons are built because they are supposed to hold criminals
-not- placing criminals in there would be more of a waste of money
don't you think so?

on another viewpoint
capital punishment shouldn't be abolished too
if you watched the show 'Dead Man Walking'
you would have experienced many emotions throughout the whole show
it is just another typical movie that involves a convict
and he received the death sentence after many appeals
as the clock ticks and as his time is nearing
he begins to repent on what he has done
admitting them to his spiritual advisor
if you sentence a convict one life term
he would not be able to repent because
he is not in the same shoes as the person sentenced to death
the person sentenced to death knows that he is about to die
whereas the life imprisonment-er would not know when he will die
therefore, he wouldnt repent for his wrongdoings
yeah, so what if he repent? he's still gonna die
which leads me back to this
if you repent and know what you have sinned
God would surely forgive you
and give you another chance to turn over a new leaf
God will not leave you in the lurch
God will not turn his attention away from you
but
God -will- forgive you, love you, and its quite evident because
2000 years ago, something magnificent happened

to summarise it all up
this is still a controversial issues
both on whether :
'Capital punishment should be abolished'
and
'Lethal Injection should be used instead of Hanging or Execution by Gunfire'

and of course I, myself
am expressing more of a biased viewpoint
and just giving my two cents worth

For He loved the world so much that He sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins

pretty straightfoward, eh?
this is the truth, to whoever is reading now
however you can always choose to believe it or not
its so amazing isin't it
a person, who has no physical contact with you
willing to sacrifice the greatest resource
just to save you from entering the gates of hell
fascinating, remarkable, descriptive beyond words

since God loves you so much
why don't you show Him some love as well?
be it through a simple prayer of praise
or worship through songs
or even just reading the bible

for current non-believers :
if you are touched just by these words
i'd have to say
God has a special place in His heart for you
and He would really want His lost child to return home

Spiritual Warfare

so I received this message
stating that theres persecution going on in Destiny Impactor's homes
perhaps, I had my persecution yesterday?
sort of, as I'm the only Christian in my home
is the time now?
is the time now to introduce Jesus to them?
I wouldn't want my parents to go straight into Hell
something must be done before I regret
life is ever fragile
you'll never know when one's gonna leave you

what went through your mind when your parents ticked you off

planned for eight hours before we could finally decide how to surprise him!
so the final decision was seoul garden
highlights of the day at seoul garden:

- isaac was the most win person. licked a spoon and dipped it inside the soup base, his table could not eat anymore (for both reasons, one for being too full, the other for being too disgusting)

- eugene was the most lame person. you would think twice to voice out an opinion on something because he would just 'rebut' it with a lame comment. his joke made me laugh without a break for 20 minutes

- lefa was in the state of shock throughout the meal. apparently he thinks he is dreaming and cannot face to reality that his friends gave him his first birthday surprise

went to nicholas's house for Kungfu Hustle
the show is pretty rigged
even though i watched it like a thousand times
heres a song perhaps to relive the moments :

we will stand together hear the lion roar

and if you were wondering
'with great powers lies in great responsibility'
it appeared in the movie
thats pretty lame
kungfu hustle has the most comical reliefs
the subtitle has more of the joke rather than the words people are speaking

this movie intrigued my thoughts this time
although everything is just fiction
however ruthless killings made by gangs are happening
right now, somewhere in the world
and this is serious
so many innocent lives being taken
by the influence of the Devil
people need more exposure on current affairs
not just on economic and political stuff
but also the warfares that are going on in the lower developed countries
just some questions to reflect on, my readers :

- how much do you know on current affairs? be it political, economic or social

- if its a substantial amount, are you doing anything about it?

- if its not a substantial amount, will you find out more and try to do something about it?

time to get something done i guess

how about rephrasing it into
'Love God first before expecting him to love you more'
of course by common sense
God loves you always
but wouldn't it be nicer if you went all out to love Him?
think of it this way like, someone is doing many things for you
if you were an ordinary person, you would want to repay him/her right?
so in this case, God is constantly showering you with love
its only right to love Him, just as you would to your parents
your father in Heaven is watching over you
your father on Earth should be loved by you as well
so if you haven't been showing concern to your parents
maybe it is time to start now
for both your father in Heaven and Earth created you
